The wait is over! The Hitch Summer Series ‘Bushfire Benefit’ will take place in one of North East Victoria’s best-kept secrets, the lush surrounds of Moyhu Hotel’s beautiful big green tree-filled beer garden on March 7th 2020 (Labour Day long weekend).  Kicking off at ​2 pm till late​. It’s the ultimate one-day music festival for your mates’, families and little folk. 

The bushfire benefit will be one HUGE day of incredible music performances featuring, one of Australia’s most respected rock outfits, The Superjesus, 7 piece international rock touring heavyweights; Dallas Frasca, regarded as one of Australia’s greatest guitarists; Phil Ceberano & Bigfoot, putting the Boss in Bossa Nova Barry Morgan’s Organ World,  four-part Acapella badassery; Glitter Bitch Club, a percussive fingerstyle guitarist prodigy & exceptional violinist will share some of the most outlandish stories you’ll hear; Tim McMillan & Rachel Snow, one of Australia’s best-emerging artists’ as well as Beechworth raised; Liv Cartledge, award-winning blues vocalist; Marisa Quigley Duo plus more TBA.

Due to the catastrophic bushfires, hazardous smoke and weather conditions around N.E Victoria, the Hitch Team will now use their platform to raise some much-needed funds for the area with an incredible all-star line-up to encourage tourists back to help the local economy get back on their feet. Profits raised from the event, 100% of any Hitch merch sold and 100% of donations collected on the day will go equally to the Victorian Bushfire Appeal (via Bendigo Bank) and Blaze Aid.  This will directly help communities in need, so please donate generously.

You can either buy a ticket online or over the bar at the Moyhu Pub, or you can catch the 12 seater mini-bus 🚌 (limited seats only) from Melbourne CBD on March 7th in the morning.  We will deliver you back to the CBD on Sunday, March 8th at 1pm (accommodation included in the mini-bus package).
