Emilee South – Malt Shed

Emilee South and band released their 2017 EP, ‘Motel’, to a roaring sold-out crowd at  The Gasometer, and the following years have seen them sharpen their explosive and  raucous live show with official showcases at Bigsound, spots at Out On The Weekend, St. Kilda Fest and Dirt Daze Weekend, as well as  supporting the likes of The Teskey Brothers, Mojo Juju and Motor Ace.

South’s 2018 psycho-surf ‘Heartbreaker’ received acclaim from community radio and press alike, seeing airplay on Double J & Triple J, and was added to rotation on   ABC Radio. With the release, South landed on the cover of Beat Magazine for   Leaps and Bounds Music Festival.

Out now, ‘Shotgun’ is the fast-love new single from Emilee South. it revolves around a  heavy riff, with fierce vocals and shredding, untamed guitars.

Emilee South and band celebrated the new release with a couple of rock shows in  Melbourne and Regional Vic, and now play an unofficial showcase for CHANGES Music Festival on July 3, at Bar Open
