A HITCH TO THE STICKS FESTIVAL

16-18th March 2018
3 days | 10 events | 20+ acts | 710kms | 1 bus.

Australian rock legend Dallas Frasca is throwing a world-first music festival launching in North-East Victoria, 16-18 March, 2018. Unlike any music festival before it, A Hitch To The Sticks takes the audience on the road, with the festival playing out around it. It’s like a reverse band tour – instead of the audience coming to the gig, the music comes to them. Think of it like a VIP ticket, a backstage pass and your own personal festival to the power of ‘’OMG I’m on tour!’’.

Ticket holders will board the bus in Melbourne and travel north to 10 events over three whole days of music infused madness – with Dallas hosting the entire show on the bus with YOU for the whole weekend. Attendees will eat, snore, drink and party together over the three days, with the first night setting the tempo of the weekend with a rock-n-roll slumber party.

For punters who miss out on a ticket – fear not – you can meet the VIP bus-riders events that will be open to the public in Tatong Tavern (hosted by The Musical Garden), Down By The River Festival in Wangaratta and Moyhu Hotel (hosted by King Valley presents).

The program line up features celebrity hitch-hikers, hedge-maze artist hunts, rock n roll breakfast jams, campfire sessions, and of course intimate bus gigs which take place while the wheels on the bus go round and round. There are secret locations to be unveiled only to the bus ticket holders.

The music line up has been curated by Dallas, and features 85% North-East Victorian musicians and one very special international guest.
